SONG LYRICS

MEMORIES OF MY LIFE
(Verse 1)
Way back in our long ago,
life was tough ………and living was hard we made a choice one day
it must be time ……..to be moving on Around the world and across the seas Through storms and through the sun To a place as yet unknown Strangers to all but one
(Chorus)
Across the years, through pain and tears A whole new land, a whole new life, Family and friends, we left behind The memories of my life
(Verse 2)
With tears in our eyes and fond farewells to family, ……….our kith and kin
Will we ever meet again?
Yes one day, the question was….but when All our doubts were cast aside Towards the future was our gaze
Our new home, our new life
Could we stay the same?
(Chorus)
Across the years, through pain and tears A whole new land, a whole new life, Family and friends, we left behind The memories of my life

(Verse 3)
It was tough, a new way of living
but always the pain
Those thoughts of home, those we left behind Would they ……..all still feel the same And through it all, they kept us sane Friends and kin, here and there
You fed us and we fed you
All we had was freely shared
(Chorus)
Across the years, through pain and tears A whole new land, a whole new life, Family and friends, left behind
The memories of my life
(Epilogue)
Now as a new day dawns
We laugh we love, we’re joined as one Those we love share our inner peace Deep within our memories
The memories of my life
