SONG LYRICS

Come on, come on! Let me take you there to where our Savior offered a prayer, where He bled from every pore as though He couldn’t take any more. He said, “Father, Thy will be done.” Jesus, my sweet Jesus. Jesus, my sweet Jesus. He bled for me. He died for me. He suffered in Gethsemane. My God, my King, to You I’ll sing. I owe my life, I owe everything to You. He healed the sick, made the blind man see. How could they have not known that He was their King? A crown of thorns pressed into His head, “Forgive them Father” is what He said. I love my Lord. Jesus, my sweet Jesus. Jesus, my sweet Jesus. Nails were driven in His hands and feet. He did it for me. He bled for me. He died for me. He suffered in Gethsemane. My God, my King, to you I’ll sing. I owe my life, I owe everything to You. Come on, Come on! Let’s step it up. Let’s show our Lord that we care enough. Let us follow in His ways.

DESCRIPTION
My son, Ron Berg, served a mission in the Arkansas, Little Rock mission. Upon completion of his mission, he learned that he had stage 3 brain cancer (anaplasticastrocytoma). He was given less than one year to live. He was miraculously healed and lived nearly 8 more years before passing away from stage 4 brain cancer (glioblastoma). He left behind his wife and 4 year old son. Ron wrote 100s of songs, but we always felt this song should be shared perhaps for primary children to sing. I have put this song to pictures in a WMA format if you want to view it that way: https://www.facebook.com/terrisa.berg.73/videos/252231392905751. This song was also put with piano by Ron's sister, Janalee Jensen if you are interested in a piano version. Since Ron has passed away, and since his now 10-year old son, Benjamin, is taking piano lessons, I would love for Ben to receive a new piano in memory of his father who loved music! Since Ron is not here to make his own submission, I, Terrisa Berg, his mother, am making the submission for him.
